For most Gold Coast homes, every 6-12 months keeps windows looking good. Beachfront properties and homes near construction may need more frequent cleaning — monthly to quarterly — to prevent salt and dust build-up from causing permanent damage. It of course depends on weather and other environmental factors, plus how much you love clean windows.

Yes, our preference is to do both sides of the glass during a residential service, especially if its a first time client. You can not ensure a quality result off doing just one side and we will decline to do outside only cleans for clients who have not used our services before. I will not risk putting my business name on a poor result.

The caveat to this is due to safety and access. If risks are too great, or accessible is impossible, we will only do what we can do.

We will provide an exterior only clean if it is required by commercial, strata or body corp properties.

They will get wet.

Generally if rain gets on windows after they have been cleaned, it does not effect the result. Rain is pure water with no minerals or contaminants, so it dries spot free in exactly the same way our water fed systems work. Unless its a massive storm, or your right on the beach front, generally your windows will still look great after a shower.

Our water-fed pole systems reach up to 5 storeys from the ground and were insured to 15m. For anything higher, there is a few other tricks up our sleeves, but we can discuss options during the quote stage. Most Gold Coast residential and low-rise commercial buildings are well within our range.

For homes: all safely accessible interior and exterior glass, screens washed and rinsed, tracks brushed and vacuumed.

For units: all safely accessible glass inside and out (screens and tracks are often not included unless requested).

Frames and sills are wiped down from excess water but not deep cleaned as standard, generally that moves us into initial clean/construction clean territory which usually runs around double the price of a standard maintenance clean.

Costs vary by company, state, and market area. Some charge per window, some charge per hour, we charge per job.

Per window rates for window cleaners on the Gold Coast vary greatly between $5-15 per pain per side. Usually that can include tracks and or screens but generally they're added up along the way. This is of course company dependent on size, access and complexity.

For hourly rates for window cleaners on the Gold Coast: expect to pay between $70 per hour on the low end and $150-200 plus on the high end. While that does sound insane for window cleaning at the higher ends, it's generally for the higher and more complex access jobs requiring expensive equipment. It's also dictated on the production rate of the window cleaner performing the service, and a higher hourly rate doesn't necessarily mean higher total costs.

We charge per job. There is a super simple calculator available on the website that gives ball park figures to all interested clients and it covers 90% of what I see day to day. This means a fixed cost for you and no one 'milking the clock' and incentive for me to work efficiently. Win-Win.

That depends on how you value your time. For a 4 bedroom home on the Gold Coast, its generally going to take the owner 4-6 hours, so half your Saturday is now gone. For a budget set of tools, its going to cost $200ish from the local Hammerbarn. You can cheap out, but the quality and time will both suffer.

For the professional to come clean your average 4 Bedroom home is going to cost around $400 and will take them 2-3 hours to produce a result you can only dream of.

So you can spend a small amount of money, waste your weekend cleaning windows only to have the significant other point out what a bad job you did. OR, you can hire the pro's for not much more, sit back and enjoy your precious time off and have the wife or husband off your back because the house now looks amazing and all you did was called in the pro's.
