Let's clear something up right away - this is not self-cleaning glass. If anyone's telling you their coating makes glass clean itself, they're either lying or selling fairy dust. What nano coating actually does is create a permanent protective film that makes cleaning dramatically easier and prevents the buildup and staining that turns glass cloudy over time.
The coating works by filling the microscopic pores in your glass surface, creating a hydrophobic barrier that water sheets off instead of beading and leaving mineral deposits behind. Soap scum, calcium buildup, salt residue - they can't grip onto the surface like they normally would. You still need to clean the glass, but a quick wipe does what used to take scrubbing and chemicals. That's the honest truth of it.
We use an Australian made and owned product with a 10-year lifespan. No dodgy imports, no exaggerated claims - just quality gear that does what it says.
This stuff is perfect for glass that cops regular water contact - shower screens and pool fencing are the sweet spot. These surfaces see constant moisture, mineral-laden water, and chemical exposure. Without protection, shower glass builds up soap scum and hard water stains that eventually etch into the surface permanently. Pool fencing cops splashback, salt from the pool, and weather exposure that leads to that cloudy, neglected look.
Now here's where I'll talk myself out of a sale - applying nano coating to your regular windows is largely a waste of money. It doesn't stop windows getting dirty from dust, pollen, salt spray, or bird droppings. It doesn't slow down how quickly they need cleaning. The coating shines when glass is frequently wet, so unless your windows are getting hosed down regularly, put your money into something more sensible. I can apply it to all your windows if you really want, but I'd rather be upfront than take your cash for something that won't deliver value.

For the coating to bond properly and last the full 10 years, we need to apply it to clean, virgin glass. New or near-new glass is ideal - if you've just had a bathroom reno or installed new pool fencing, that's the perfect time to get it coated before any buildup starts.
Older glass can absolutely be done, but it usually requires more extensive preparation. Depending on how far gone it is, we might need detailed cleaning, hard water stain removal, or even glass restoration to get back to a surface the coating can bond to properly. Sometimes that prep work is worth it, sometimes the glass is too far gone and you're better off putting the money toward replacement. We'll give you an honest assessment before you commit.
